I had a meeting in Thailand with my investors for my clothing line business. I was at the airport to go back to the Philippines waiting for my flight, and as usual, my flight was delayed.
Many people were getting impatient, and some annoyed passengers started forming a line for boarding, although it was not boarding yet. To add up to the pressure, they even had their luggage along with them. Meanwhile, I was there sitting comfortably.
Finally, they started announcing for boarding. More people rushed to the line like seats were first come, first served, trying to squeeze themselves into the plane like there was no tomorrow.
In this busy fast-paced life, it is instinctive to think: “Everybody is doing it, why won’t!?” or “I should get there first!” People always want to be ahead.
People think others are after the spot they are eyeing for when they’re actually not. People sacrifice peace of mind to secure a space for themselves, thinking the world is too small for everyone to settle in. But is it?
I haven’t traveled for past one year because of corona virus. Before that I had traveled several times to abroad in a year. Three years ago, I had visited 10 countries.

I think it depends on what kind of line. As like today’s article, if the line is for flight boarding, I would not follow it. However, if the line is for security check, I would line up because it has possible to late for the flight.
