The plot, set in the Taisho Period, is about a 15-year old boy who fights human-eating demons after his family was slaughtered and his younger sister turned into a demon.
The historical Japanese setting, character development, and fight choreography were quite catchy.
歴史的な日本の設定、キャラクター開発、そして戦いの振り付けは非常にキャッチーでした。
筆者がマンガを読んだ感想を書いています。

But these alone wouldn’t have made a hit in the anime industry without the interesting villains – the demons – along with their sad backstories, and how the protagonists listened and empathized but still killed them.
We all have inner demons. Don’t get me wrong; these demons are not of a religions context. Metaphorically, they come in different forms – guilt, anger, fear, hatred, jealousy, among others.
Unlike the movie, don’t just fight with your demons. But if you must, arm yourself. I have learned that the mightiest weapon we can ever carry along is forgiveness. It always outshines the darkness.
I can understand the demon, if demon means the negative feeling like guilt, anger, fear, hated, jealous etc. We are often controlled by such feelings. However we sometimes control such feelings in reverse.
I think mentally weakness triggers our inner “demons”. We may hide our weakness by making up bad feelings. I think the way to overcome these feelings is to do the right things and actions for turning back to the right place.
People say, “Choose your battles.” How do you interpret this? Was there any point in your life where you had to deal with this? What factors affected your decision? How did it turn out?
I understand there are the time when we have to fight for living. We don’t have to always fight, but we have to fight for the things which we absolutely have to protect. I think it is the fight for protecting the right things. At the battle for protecting the right things, people around us will help us to win the battle.
